Dye Sublimation Metal Prints

Dye sublimation is a high-end printing process that transfers your image onto a specially coated aluminum panel using high temperatures and pressure. Unlike traditional surface printing methods, sublimation infuses the inks directly into the metal, creating a more durable and long-lasting result.

Because the image becomes part of the metal surface, dye sublimation metal prints offer exceptional quality and longevity:

  • Tested to resist fading for up to 100 years
  • Waterproof and easy to clean
  • Highly resistant to scratching and everyday wear
  • Continuous-tone output for exceptionally smooth detail and color, unlike standard inkjet printing

Mounting Options

Choose from a range of professional mounting options to best complement your space and desired presentation.

Mounting Option Description Depth / Offset Hanger Type
Flush Mount A clean, minimal presentation where the print sits close to the wall for a sleek, modern look. Offset from the wall by approximately 1/4" Sawtooth hanger
Gallery Float Mount A hidden frame on the back of the print creates the illusion that the artwork is floating off the wall, adding depth and presence. Rear frame approximately 1" thick Integrated hanging hardware on the float frame
Metal Flush Frame A sturdy aluminum frame that adds a contemporary, gallery-style border. The metal print is mounted flush to the edge of the frame for a bold, finished presentation. Frame depth approximately 1" Sawtooth or traditional hanger; available frame finishes in black or silver
Float Frame A robust wood frame that surrounds the print while maintaining a visible gap between the image and the frame, giving the artwork a refined, dimensional “floating” effect. 1 1/4" deep frame with approximately 1/4" air space between print and frame; frame profile about 3/8" thick Wire hanger on the back of the frame
